The candidate
  • is educated to at least bachelor degree level or equivalent and can demonstrate at least three years of success in multi-level solution selling in transport & logistics;
  • has strong commercial drive and is skilled at translating customer needs into innovative concrete solutions;
  • has a good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken; 
  • is enterprising, results-oriented, a team player and tenacious;
  • is capable of getting things done effectively, both externally and internally.
Core tasks and responsibilities
  • To achieve the budgeted sales targets, plus:
  • To position, methodically develop and sell the added value of Simacan to new customers
  • To develop relationships at various levels within the client organization as the basis for insights into customer needs and Simacan’s added value
  • To inform and involve your colleagues effectively and in good time in the various phases of the customer journey
  • To accurately keep the CRM system up to date

In this context, Simacan offers organizations an open and independent cloud platform for optimizing their transport & logistics performance. Are you a driven sales professional who can help customers to make digitalization work for them?

As a highly motivated Sales Executive, you will help us to achieve our growth ambitions by focusing on new business development in the Dutch market. Thanks to your vision and energy combined with the innovative strength of the Simacan cloud platform, you will succeed in enthusing, motivating and convincing others, both externally and internally. You will help the various stakeholders within the client organization to understand how the concrete solutions offered by the Simacan platform can support their business objectives. Together with the whole Simacan team, but especially with your colleagues from Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, you will identify, develop and optimally seize opportunities within the various market segments.

About Simacan
Simacan is a young and innovative scale-up company, located in Amersfoort, with over 55 employees and still growing. The Simacan cloud platform improves logistics alignment between consumers, webshops, brick-and-mortar stores, DCs, carriers and suppliers, resulting in better supply chain performance at lower costs. We are already helping Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Bloomon, PostNL and various other organizations to optimize their goods flows.
