Jeffrey joins the Support Engineering-team

Hi Jeffrey, welcome to Simacan! What will you be doing here, and what are you looking forward to?
I will be working in the Service & Support department, I will be investigating and answering incoming questions of customers. I am really looking forward to being able to tackle those independently!

Where did working life start for you?
My first job on Saturdays was throwing towels into a machine, to have them washed. After highschool I first started as a network / system administrator. I was running across the country to repair computers and printers on the spot, and support users with all their questions. After that I started working as a support engineer. My first company made their own reporting software for phones. After that I took care of service and support for ERP software. And that brought me here, to Service & Support at Simacan. 
 
You started here in a strange time. I still hope you had a good start. What was your first impression of Simacan? 
Those strange times are supposed to be quite done, but some changes have really settled in. Many people work from home more. My start was a good one, all the tools I needed were available, and I have done some cool things already so far. I still encounter new colleagues in the kitchen. What I really enjoyed was the Easter Breakfast recently. This gave my family an excellent opportunity to see where I work these days.

Can you tell us some more about yourself?
I am Jeffrey Lensen, born in ‘s Hertogenbosch. I live in Nijkerk now, together with my wife, and our two boys, 4 and 2 years old. In my free time, I love working with computers as well. As a family we like going to amusement parks, the zoo, or (indoor) playgrounds.
